How long is the NZeTA valid after approval?

Got my NZeTA approved a while back through iVisa for a trip I ended up cancelling. Now planning to visit New Zealand again, Is the same ETA still usable or do I need to reapply?

The NZeTA is valid for 2 years from the date of approval, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. So if your approval was within the last 2 years and your passport is still valid, you should be able to use the same NZeTA for your new trip without reapplying.

Worth double-checking the exact approval date and your passport expiry before you book flights. You can check your NZeTA status through iVisa if that’s where you applied, or through the New Zealand Immigration site: https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/visas/visa/nzeta

If it has expired or your passport has changed since then, you’ll need a fresh application, but if it’s still within the 2-year window you’re all set.
