| I submitted my NZeTA application 4 days ago & the status still shows as ‘in progress’. My flight is in 10 days. Should I be worried, or is this normal processing time? |

Four days with an ‘in progress’ status is within the normal range for NZeTA. Most applications are approved within 72 hours but it can sometimes take up to 72 hours or longer if additional checks are needed. With 10 days until your flight you still have a reasonable amount of time, but it’s worth keeping a close eye on it now.
If you applied through iVisa, their support team can also follow up with the status on your behalf which can save time. Try not to panic just yet, most delayed applications do come through, but do flag it if another few days pass without movement.
