| First time heading to Indonesia and a bit confused about what I need. Is a tourist visa required, or can I enter without one? How long can I stay? |

Welcome to the community! Great destination choice. Entry requirements for Indonesia depend on your nationality, but here is the general picture for most visitors….
Visa on Arrival (VOA): Most nationalities can get a Visa on Arrival at major international airports and seaports. It allows a 30-day stay, extendable once for another 30 days, so up to 60 days total. The fee is around 500,000 rupiah (roughly $35 USD).
e-VOA (apply before you fly): You can also apply for the electronic version online before you travel, which saves time at the airport. Worth doing if you want to skip the queue on arrival.
Visa-free entry: A smaller number of nationalities can enter without any visa at all for short stays, so worth checking if that applies to you.
Passport requirements: Your passport needs to be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date and have at least two blank pages.
Digital arrival card: Indonesia also requires all arriving passengers to complete a digital declaration through the All Indonesia platform before landing. It covers immigration, customs and health in one form.
The official immigration site is the best place to confirm what applies to your specific nationality I would check out the below
Official immigration portal: https://www.imigrasi.go.id/en/
e-VOA application: https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id
All Indonesia digital arrival card: https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id
Hope that helps! Enjoy your trip!
