Applied for a US ESTA about two years ago through iVisa for a trip that got cancelled. Never actually used it. Is there any chance it’s still valid or do I need to reapply?
Good news, an ESTA is valid for 2 years from the date of approval (or until your passport expires, whichever comes first). So if you applied two years ago it’s likely either just expired or right on the edge depending on the exact date.
Worth logging back into the CBP ESTA site to check your status: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov. It’ll show you the exact expiry date. If it’s still valid, you’re good to go for trips up to 90 days. If it’s expired you’ll just need to reapply, which is usually pretty quick.
Since you applied through iVisa last time you could also check your account there, they sometimes keep your application details which can save time on a reapplication.
